Used in electroless copper plating, gold plating, lead-tin alloy plating, electrochemical polishing of steel parts and solution before copper silver plating, EDTA-Na can also be used instead. Also used in detergents, liquid soap, shampoo, agricultural chemical sprays, color sensitive materials washing processing bleaching fixing solution, water purification agent, PH regulator, coagulant and so on. In the reduction initiation system of styrene butadiene rubber polymerization, disodium EDTA, as a component of the active agent, is mainly used to complex ferrous ions and control the polymerization rate.
