Description





1. The product adopts the structure design of floating ball and baffle, which has more stable and reliable control performance.
2. The double float gas relay is installed on the pipeline between the transformer and the oil conservator.
3. Under normal circumstances, the relay is filled with insulating liquid, and the floating ball is at the highest position due to buoyancy.
4. When the transformer encounters a fault, it will respond as follows:
a. Accumulation of gas: There is free gas in the insulating liquid, the accumulated gas rises and the liquid level falls, and the upper float drops together, making the contact connected and sending out a signal. (The lower float is not affected as gas can flow from the pipe port to the conservator.)
b. Loss of insulating liquid: due to a leak in a certain part, the insulating liquid is lost, and the floating ball descends to send out a signal. The liquid continues to lose, and the lower floating ball descends to send a signal to cut off the power supply connected to the transformer.
c. Insulating liquid fault: When the insulating liquid inside the transformer produces pressure fluctuations, the pressure wave impacts the flow velocity plate at this time, exceeding the action sensitivity value of the flow velocity plate, the flow velocity plate moves along the direction of liquid fluctuation, the contacts pull together, and the transformer trips.


Product characteristics
一、The double float gas relay is installed on the pipeline between the transformer and the oil conservator.

4. The oil shortage alarm value of the lower float is generally 1/4 of the remaining oil in the pipeline or when the gas volume accumulates 1050±100ml based on the shell, an alarm signal will be issued.
5. The heavy gas baffle can be adjusted according to the transformers with different capacities on site. The general factory setting value is 1.0±0.1m/s, and the stability is that the three-time measurement error value should not exceed 0.05m/s.










Installation
1. Before installing and using the relay, you must first take out the relay movement and remove the binding straps used for transportation and fixation. And check whether all fasteners are loose, whether the floating cup (float) and baffle move flexibly, and whether the contacts open and close reliably.
2. The relay should be installed on the joint pipe between the oil tank of the oil-immersed transformer and the oil conservator. The inner diameter of the joint pipe should be consistent with the pipeline diameter (diameter) of the relay. The arrow on the relay must point to the oil conservator. The end of the oil conservator is allowed to be slightly higher, but the inclination between the axis of the joint pipe and the horizontal plane must not exceed 4%, or the method of installing an inclined gas connecting pipe is used to allow the gas inside the transformer to smoothly enter the relay.
3. In order to facilitate the maintenance of the gas relay at the operating site, its installation position should ensure that the relay movement can be smoothly removed from the housing.
4. After the installation is completed, open the oil valve on the connecting pipe, unscrew the air plug dust cover and loosen the air plug nut 2 by hand (be careful not to unscrew the nut), let the air discharge until the oil nozzle escapes, and then Tighten the nuts.​
Debugging
1. The QJ series relay is an important protection device for oil-immersed transformers. Therefore, the operating department has special regulations. For example, it must be debugged, set and certified by the inspection department before it can be put into use. Therefore, debugging and oil speed setting work should be in accordance with relevant regulations. implement.
2. Adjustment of gas volumeChanging the position of the dry reed contact can adjust the gas volume of the signal contact action. When the dry reed contact moves up, the gas volume decreases, and when the dry reed contact moves down, the gas volume increases. The locking screw should be tightened after adjustment.
3. Oil speed adjustmentAdjusting the adjusting rod connected to the spring can change the tension of the baffle spring, which can change the oil speed of the trip contact (the relay has been set before leaving the factory, the value can be found in the factory inspection report). After adjustment, the nut should be locked. The action oil speed setting work should be carried out by professionals on special flow speed calibration equipment.
4. Adjustment of baffle rotation angleAdjusting the stop screw can change the rotation angle of the baffle, and adjust the distance between the magnet and the reed contact (0.5~1.0mm) to ensure that the reed contact opens and closes reliably.
