Off-grid Inverter: Off-grid inverters are mainly used in off-grid solar systems or independent power systems, which do not depend on the public grid for power supply. It converts direct current (DC) electrical energy into alternating current (AC) electrical energy to meet the electrical demand in off-grid systems. Off-grid inverters are usually equipped with a battery storage system, which can store excess electrical energy in the battery for use at night or when energy is insufficient.

On-grid Inverter: On-grid inverters are mainly used in solar systems connected to the public grid. It converts the DC power
generated by solar panels into AC power that matches the frequency and voltage of the public grid and injects it into the public grid for other users. Grid-connected inverters have functions such as power limitation and power factor control to ensure a safe connection and coordinated operation with the grid.

Hybrid Inverter: A hybrid inverter combines the functions of an off-grid inverter and a grid-connected inverter. It can switch between off-grid mode and grid-connected mode and is suitable for solar energy systems that meet both off-grid and grid-connected requirements. Hybrid inverters can use solar power for power and feed excess power into the grid or store it in batteries when needed. Such inverters usually have functions such as battery management and charging control to achieve flexible power management and provision of backup power.
