Purity

The purity of powder raw material is very important to prepare target material by powder curing method. Especially the control of oxygenation, usually the finer the powder is, the more difficult it is to control the oxygen content. For the target material with higher requirements on dry oxygen content, the powder with large particle size can be appropriately selected.
Density
The density of P/M target has an important effect on the properties of sputtered films. Usually the target material prepared by powder metallurgy is very likely to contain a certain number of pores, their existence will lead to abnormal discharge during sputtering, and produce impurity particles.
