What is a Tubular Skylight?    How Do Tubular Skylights Work? 

 Lighting dome, flashing, light tube, fixed ring, decorative ring and diffuser composed a whole set of the BANFU light tube system. The upper lighting dome absorbs the sunshine sufficiently, after been reflected and enhanced by the high reflected light tube and guided to the diffuser; the diffuser spread the light to any angle of the space;this is how the system works. It is a miracle item warm in winter while cooler in summer which makes sure the heat and cool air stay inside and also prevent unwelcomed air outdoor.   Lighing dome   

 Round dome shape and flat shape is optional (irregular shape could be customized)

You can choose PMMA or PC as the raw material of the lighting dome which with high transparency and good reflection. The UV protection on the surfce can prevent 90% ultraviolet, which lengthen the dome’s life.

 

   Flashing    

 The flashing is stamped out by machine one time to make sure the using time, appearance and waterproofing function.

The shape of flashing can be customized according to the roof structure. The flashing is a bridge

to connect the dome and light tube.

     

 

 Light tube  

Material: imported 0.4mm high reflective aluminum sheet, reflectivity high to 99.7%.

Style: rigidity tube, 30°,45°,60°,90°elbow angle.

Specification: 300mm, 400mm,600mm and 1200mm is available.

Advantage: high stability, high reflectivity, light weight, anti-rust, long life, install simple, maintenance free.

Suggestible longest length: 280mm-8m, 400mm-12m, 550mm-20m. 

 

  Ceiling trim & Diffuser holder   

The fixed ring and decorative ring is made by injection molding, with wonderful appearance, can be matched with the ceiling perfectly. With good appearance.light weight, high intensity, anti-corruption.

 

  Diffuser   

Optional material is PC/PMMA; all of these three materials has good transparency, heat resistance and sound insulation. The diffuser redistributes light and spread to the room equally which brings more comfortable living situation to the human being.
