MartiniSPA is an Italian family-run producer of sponges and accessories for personal care and living environment.
The production works on a variety of different materials, from polyurethane to cellulose, from latex to selected Italian or Mediterranean vegetable origin spun yarns, following extremely high quality standards kept by internal protocols and certifications. Suppliers are carefully selected.

50 years of neverending curiosity
In 1969, in Coenzo (Parma), a small village lying in the North of Italy next to Po river, Ugo Martini founded Martini Poliresine.
Martini Poliresine, in close contact with the important Italian designers of those years, used to transform polyurethane for
several companies in the furniture industry. This is how the history of MartiniSPA begins. Since then, MartiniSPA has never
stopped interpreting new lifestyles with originality, bringing in its products a constant evolution, inspired by creativity and
technological innovation becoming the leader in the sponge and body care accessories segment in Italian market.
The growth of the Company continues with the acquisition of Il Coccio in 2008, an Italian leading brand in the production of humidifiers and ceramic housewaresand.
Martini Poliresine, in close contact with the important Italian designers of those years, used to transform polyurethane for
several companies in the furniture industry. This is how the history of MartiniSPA begins. Since then, MartiniSPA has never
stopped interpreting new lifestyles with originality, bringing in its products a constant evolution, inspired by creativity and
technological innovation becoming the leader in the sponge and body care accessories segment in Italian market.
The growth of the Company continues with the acquisition of Il Coccio in 2008, an Italian leading brand in the production of humidifiers and ceramic housewaresand.
Nowadays, MartiniSPA headquarter includes production plant, warehouse, logistic center, R&D and administration/trading offices, over an area of 35.000 covered squared meters out of 100.000 s.m. as total and is distributed in about 50 countries around the world, including Germany, France, Russia, Saudi Arabia, UEA, Japan, Korea, USA.
For years now, MartiniSPA has been committed to being a spokesman for sustainable style. A concrete commitment strongly supported by Patron Fulvio Martini and expressed not only by studying products with an increasingly green soul, but also by the corporate culture. Respecting nature to improve the quality of life for all is a path that MartiniSPA has been cultivating for some time.
Since 2012, we have been using clean energy generated with the solar panels and, together with an optimization of production processes, technological investments resulting in a reduction in CO2 emissions, we have been adopting an increasingly green approach by reducing the company’s environmental impact. Recently we created a forest that is slowly growing around the company: a real breath of fresh air to ensure cleaner air.
For years now, MartiniSPA has been committed to being a spokesman for sustainable style. Certifications
MartiniSPA has obtained the certifications relating to the company quality system ISO 9001 and BRC Consumer. The BIO line, awarded in 2017with the Green Product Award for ecological sustainability, has the GOTS certification for organic textiles.
Furthermore MartiniSPA, thanks to the installation of large surfaces of photovoltaic systems, is able to independently produce the energy it uses for production processes.
