Rotary Drum Screen (External) Introduction





Rotary Drum Screen is the equipment which can continuously and effectively remove suspended solid from wastewater. It is mainly used for municipal and industrial wastewater pre-treatment process. In some wastewater treatment, it can removed 30%- 60% organic or inorganic suspended solids.It can greatly reduce the workload for the subsequent process.The equipment is widely used in the filtration of fine solids in the food, brewing, pharmaceutical, dairy and other industries.










Rotary Drum Screen (External) Working Principle




Sewage (or other raw water) passed through the surface of the drum and enters the interior of the drum. As the drum rotates, the filtrate flows out from the bottom of the drum. Suspended solids in the wastewater remain on the drum surface and are removed by a scraper.
