The history of Autor Foods begins in 1918. We were one of the first tinned vegetable manufactures that were created in Spain and, throughout these more than 100 years of history, we have been witnesses and protagonists of the evolution of the sector.

In the 1940s came the mechanization of production lines. Modernization began in the 1960s and we were one of the first companies to incorporate autoclaves into our production system. In the 1980s, we entered the international market and, today, exports represent 45% of our production.

At the same time, we specialize in the production of precooked pulses and in the 2000s we made a strong commitment to organic pulses. Environmental commitment is part of our corporate culture. That is why we promote the BIO culture throughout the process and align ourselves with the European Green Pact.

We have our own R&D department, which collaborates with external laboratories such as the CNTA (National Center for Food Safety and Technology). This allows us to put the best combinations with precooked pulses on the market and develop new products geared to the tastes and habits of consumers.

We select our suppliers based on the quality standards by which we are governed, maintaining close work with them in the field to define our needs and understand their difficulties. Thus, we make each supplier a travel companion, in which our clients also participate, whom we support and advise to create lasting relationships.
