NFT is a hydroponic technique in which the root system of a plant grows in a plastic film tank or a fixed channel through which the nutrient solution is constantly circulated, thus providing the plant with the necessary nutrients and water.
Although NFT systems are designed in a variety of ways (tiled structure, A-frame structure, spiral structure, S-shaped pipe structure, etc.), they all have the same characteristics, that is, a very shallow nutrient solution circulates through the cultivation pipe, and the roots of the plant come into contact with the nutrient solution, absorbing water and nutrients from it.

The seedlings are transplanted into the colonization cup and put into the small hole at the top of the cultivation tube, so that the roots of the seedlings hang down to the bottom of the cultivation pipe, the NFT hydroponic system nutrient solution flows to the head of each cultivation pipe through the liquid supply pipeline, the pipe has a certain slope, the nutrient solution will form a layer of nutrient solution film at the bottom of the pipe, slowly flow through each plant, and infiltrate the roots of the plant, and finally flow from the return liquid line at the end to the nutrient solution pool, ready for the next cycle irrigation.
Although the nutrient solution flowing through the pipe is very shallow, the roots of the whole plant will always be moist and can absorb the required nutrients at any time, and its hanging roots have a large contact area with air, and there is sufficient oxygen, which is also helpful for the growth of plants.
