CD Flanged Threaded Metric Weld Studs in stainless steel material provide extra corrosion resistance and can be used in marine applications. They are available in a huge range of sizes and provide an incredibly versatile and portable method of joining small diameter studs to thin sheet metals.
CD Flanged Threaded Metric Weld Studs have a small pip under the weld end which melts during the arc and welds the end of the fastener to the material, this is assisted by spring pressure from the welding gun. The fast weld times minimize heat buildup, resulting in welds with very little distortion, discoloration or burning.

Product Description
M3 - M10 CD Flanged Threaded Metric Weld Studs
1) CD Flanged Threaded Metric Weld Studs are designed to be welded to thin gauge sheet material using tip ignition according to the capacitors discharge welding process.
2) CD Flanged Threaded Metric Weld Studs are available in many different sizes, from a base diameter of a 2 mm stud up to 12 mm.
3) CD Flanged Threaded Metric Weld Studs are: copper coated steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloy, and brass.
4) Other grades, i.e. AISI 316 (A4), AISI 310 are available on request.
5) The stud flange is designed according to EN ISO 13918.
