Description

Description: L209 is a salt-based aluminum alloy electrode with al-si alloy as core and coating. Its versatility is big, the characteristic is the hot crack resistance is good, the weld metal has the certain mechanical properties, regarding weldability slightly bad aluminum alloy, also is not easy to form the crack. Using DC power supply, electrode positive electrode, using short arc rapid welding. Arc stability slightly poor, larger splash.

Uses: commonly used for aluminum plate, aluminum silicon casting, general aluminum alloy and forging aluminum, hard aluminum welding. But not suitable for welding aluminum magnesium alloy.

Notes: 1. Electrode is extremely susceptible to moisture, it should be stored in a dry sealed container to prevent deterioration by moisture. 2. Bake the electrode at 150 ° C for 1-2 hours before welding.

3.The PAD shall be used for welding and the welding shall be performed after heating to 200-300 ° C according to the thickness of the welding piece. During welding, the electrode should not swing laterally to improve welding speed, the electrode should be vertical welding surface, arc should be as short as possible. The replacement of electrode must be done quickly.

4. Welding parts must be removed before welding oil, impurities. After welding should be carefully removed slag, and with steam or hot water washed clean
