MK14 series is a powerful, highly flexible, ultra low power Bluetooth® 5 module based on Nordic® Semiconductor nRF52805 SoC solution, which has a 32bit Arm® Cortex™-M4 CPU with floating point unit running at 64MHz
Product Description
MK14 module is multiprotocol capable with full protocol concurrency. It supports BLE® (Bluetooth Low Energy) and 2 Mbps of Bluetooth 5 giving increased application throughput and up to 50 % savings in energy usage. It supports channel selection algorithm #2 (CSA#2), improving the ability to coexist with other Bluetooth LE devices. ANT and 2.4GHz proprietary protocols are also supported.
There are two models of MK14 series Bluetooth module — MK14A and MK14B. The two models both have a small size of 12.1 x 8.9 x 2.0mm with 8 GPIOs of nRF52805 (WLCSP package).
The difference between MK14A and MK14B is the antenna design.
MK14A integrates a high-performance PCB antenna.
MK14B uses a u.FL connector and requires an external 2.4Ghz antenna.
