Reinforce-ment fibers may be roving, continous mat, woven robing carbon or others. The fibers are impregnated with polymer matrix (resin, minerals, pigments, additives) and passed through a pre-forming station that produces the stratification necessary to give the profile the desired properties, After the pre-forming step, the resin-impregnated fibers are pulled through a heated die to polymerize the resin.

FRP Tubing is durable, sturdy, lightweight and is easy to install. The corrosion resistant nature of pultruded fiberglass tubing is a strong advantage in situations where moisture or chemicals are present. We use 2” x 2” Square FRP tube in our Fiberglass Railing Systems.
Square and Round Tube comes in wall thicknesses ranging from 1/8″ to 3/8″ and various resin systems and colors. Fiberglass Tubing has a surface veil to protect against glass fibers penetrating the resin surface in service and to increase corrosion and UV resistance.
