Hytrel 5526
Hytrel® 5526 by DuPont is a plasticizer free thermoplastic polyester elastomer. It is light stabilized and contains a non-discoloring stabilizer. Possesses good melt stability, excellent toughness, resilience, high resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, flexibility at low temperatures and good retention of properties at elevated temperatures. Provides resistance to industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. Hytrel® 5526 is suitable for processing by injection molding and thermoforming. Mostly used in seals, packings, gaskets, gears and bearing.
