Common uses
1. There are many types of gas cylinders related to diving operations. From the pressure point of view, there are high-pressure (working pressure is 15MPa~20MPa), medium pressure (working pressure is 2.5MPa~4.0Mpa) and low pressure (working pressure is 0.7mpa~1.5mpa) gas cylinders. From the use point of view, there are self-carrying underwater breathing gas, gas storage cylinder (built-in gas can be used as the main gas source, but also as a backup gas source for emergency use) and so on.
2. Because the pressure and volume of the cylinder determine the volume of atmospheric gas contained in the cylinder, the selection of the cylinder needs to comprehensively consider the pressure and volume of the cylinder.
3. In general, high-pressure gas cylinders are mostly used for Marine pressurization systems and land pressurization systems with higher pressure to meet the requirements of small volume and large gas storage; Low-pressure cylinders are mostly used in high-pressure oxygen chambers and pressurized chambers with working pressure below 0.7mpa.
4. The choice of cylinder size mainly depends on the main function of the cylinder to be completed, whether it is used as a buffer or for gas storage.
5. If the function of the gas cylinder is used as a buffer, the small volume gas cylinder can be used. If the function of the cylinder is to store gas, a larger volume of cylinders is usually required to fill multiple cylinders at the same time to meet peak demand.
6. If the average gas volume requirements are large, it is not necessary to prepare a large cylinder, but should be equipped with a compressor with a higher inflation capacity, and there is a comprehensive balance between the size of the cylinder and the compressor.
