working principle
Planetary ball mills are equipped with four ball milling tanks on a large plate. When the plate rotates (revolution), it drives the ball milling tanks to rotate (self rotation) around its own axis, thus forming planetary motion. The transmission ratio between revolution and rotation is 1:2 (one revolution per revolution, two revolutions per revolution). The grinding balls and abrasives inside the tank collide, crush, grind, and mix the test samples under the action of two centrifugal forces: revolution and rotation.
