Prime1 - voltage output infrared methane sensor (CH4 sensor) product description:


Prime1 sensors use NDIR technology to detect gas concentrations.Inside the sensor is an infrared light source, a dual-element infrared detector, a unique optical waveguide to allow the gas to diffuse into the ARM7 core microprocessor, the circuit provides the output voltage regardless of the polarity of the power supply.The sensor can be set as - voltage output, the full range 0.4v-2.0v refers to the negative electrode of the power supply, or set as catalytic combustion output format, usually the zero point is the intermediate voltage, relative to the detection pin at the point of full range is 100mV.In addition, the output values can be read and the internal configuration accessed through a serial port connection.The communication points are welded pads on the 3 series Prime1 and pins on the 5 series Prime1.The internal integrated circuit can realize functions such as driving optical devices, extracting detection signals, converting signal strength into concentration, temperature compensation and quantizing output values.In the configuration of catalytic combustion, Prime1 can meet the requirements of power supply, do not change the circuit and completely replace the catalytic combustion sensor.When Prime 1 is used in the constant current catalytic combustion circuit, the peripheral components need to meet the requirements of power supply.Prime1 currently has no explosion-proof certification, so if used in dangerous areas, must add explosion-proof sealing shell.
