Product Process
Warping and Sizing：Purpose of warping is line up the warp yarn on warping beam according to width and weight of fabric, hence may
ready for sizing process. Purpose of sizing is avoiding the damage of warp yarn by friction of weaving parts to yarn breakage or damage on surface. It also may combine several warp beams into one weaving beam to reach enough yarn ends. Heddling：Before weaving beam loading on weaving loom, all warp yarn need to be hooked up with heddles, droppers & reed. Weaving：We weave fiberglass fabric by high speed Toyota air jet looms. De-Sizing and Silane finish： After weaving, the sizing need to be removed from fabric, fiber
glass fabric could be remove most of sizing out by using high temperature treatment . After the 1st step desizing, the coffee color fabric is set in a batch oven to continue heat treated to remove the rest about 10% sizing off. After desizing, the fabric would be treated by silane to improve the interlocking ability between the glass fabric and epoxy resin. Including three step, the first two step is desizing, the third step is coating silane. The first step is delete the sizing of the fabric rolls by the fabric roll running through the KH furnace, the fabric color became coffee color, we call this fabric KH fabric or carmelized fabric. Most of the sizing on the yarn is delete after this, this carmelized fabric LOI is about 0.16 The second step is put the coffee color fabric into the BH furnace, and keep it about 48 hours in the furnace to delete the left sizing. after this step the fabric color turned to white color, and this fabric we called BH fabric, its LOI is now about 0.04 The third step is coating silane on the BH fabric, after this the LOI is about 0.11, and the break strengh will raise after dip silane. the silane could help epoxy resin coating on the fabric. Laminate: Make the fiberglass cloth to prepreg by impregnating with epoxy resin,then press the prepreg to epoxy sheet or laminate. And the copper clad laminate will be make after press the copper foil on the suface of the laminate.
