AO22 is an ultra-low temperature (-196℃) ultra-low carbon stainless steel electrode of rutile coating type. The weld metal has good mechanical properties and resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially good impact toughness at -196℃. The electrode can be used for both AC and DC, and has good resistance to porosity.
b.It can weld the 316L class austenitic stainless steel pipe system under the ultra-low temperature of -196℃. It is suitable for welding of liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks, pipelines and cryogenic equipment.
