Pre-shipment Inspection - Old Mechanical and Electrical Products
CCIC is registered by the Chinese Customs and is authorized to carry out pre-shipment inspection on old mechanical and
electrical products. The inspection certificate and inspection report issued by our company are necessary documents for Chinese customs clearance.
The pre-shipment inspection on old mechanical and electrical products is carried out in accordance with China’s “ Measures for the Inspection, Supervision and Administration of Imported Old Mechanical and Electrical Products ” for the inspection of sanitation,health, environmental protection, energy consumption, health and anti-fraud.

• Importer/Exporter/Agent make payment.

• CCIC schedule on-site inspection & do on-site inspection.

• Importer/Exporter makes corrections or prepares correction Plan (If non-conformity issues were found during inspection).

• Importer/Exporter provides correction plan or correction Evidence (If necessary).

• Certificate / Inspection report will be issued if correction result or plan is approved.

• Scan copy of certificate and report will be sent by email to Importer/Exporter.

• Certificate/Report will be sent by courier to the importer/applicant.


FAQ


1. Who is the applicant of the pre-shipment inspection?
It can be either the importer of China or other parties (e.g. supplier or agent)

2.Can we get a refund if we cancel the inspection?
Yes. If our inspector has not left for on-site inspection, you can get refund for balance after deducting US$300 handling fees and all incurred expenses.

3.Can CCIC arrange inspections if the machine is in a non-operating condition?
We prefer the machine to be in running condition, but we still can perform power-off inspection if running condition is not anoption. If the machine is under the following conditions, the machines are not ready for on-site inspection:
• Already packed or crated
• Still operating and will continue to operate for some time after inspection
• Machine will be remodeled, repaired or re-assembled before shipping


4. What I need to prepare before on-site inspection?
1. Make sure the machine (including inside & outside) is clean and free from any liquid or solid leftover, such as dust or oil
stains from production.
2. Repair or replace all damaged instrument, meters, switches and indicator lights, etc.
3. Change or clean all used filters
4. Decontamination Certificate is required if equipment uses hazardous gas, liquid and chemical substances; and/or equipment which
has contact with biological blood or cells.

Disinfection/decontamination certificate must include the information below:
1. Name of the equipment and item number
2. Time and place where disinfection/decontamination conducted
3. Name of the organization which conducted the disinfection/decontamination
4. Method used for disinfection/decontamination and the name and dosage of the disinfectant


5. What I need to do after on-site inspection?
1. Make corrections & prepare corrective action plan for any non-conformity issues found during inspection that do not meet the requirements regarding safety, sanitation and environment protection in accordance with the regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection.
2. Provide corrective action plan to CCIC . (including letter in wording and visual image evidence after correction)
3. Further correction if correction result provided at the first time is not accepted by CCIC .
