5. Machine Details Of Small Mini 25mm Single Screw Extruder Laboratory Extrusion Machine


5.1 Single Screw Extruder
The Mini Lab extrusion line features a smaller-scale extruder compared to industrial-scale systems. It consists of a heated barrel, a screw mechanism, and a motor. The extruder melts and conveys the plastic material forward to create the filament.

5.2 High Precision Extrusion Mould
The Mini Lab line extrusion line is equipped with a die, which determines the final diameter and shape of the filament. The die size can be adjusted based on the desired filament specifications.

5.3 Heat And Cold Water Tank
This section includes a heat bath or cooling bath to gradually cool down the extruded filament and solidify it.

The heat water tank is the first tank in the cooling process, which acts as a buffer between the hot extruded filament and the subsequent cooling stages, preventing sudden temperature changes and allowing for gradual cooling.

The cold water tank follows the heat water tank. It contains chilled or cold water to rapidly cool down the filament and solidify it. The cold water tank helps set the physical properties of the filament, including its dimensional accuracy, strength, and flexibility.

5.4 Laser Diameter Measuring Instrument
It is a device used to measure and monitor the diameter of the extruded filament in real time. It utilizes laser technology to provide accurate and non-contact measurements of the filament diameter during the production process.




5.5 Haul-Off Machine
Once the filament has cooled and solidified, it is pulled from the extrusion line using a haul-off machine.

It provides controlled pulling force and maintaining the desired filament dimensions, consistency, and alignment during the extrusion process.




5.6 Automatic Winder
Finally, the filament need to be wound onto a plastic spool.

A Winder is used to wind the extruded filament onto spools in a controlled and orderly manner. The filament winder ensures proper tension, alignment and layering of the filament as it is being wound, resulting in neatly wound and ready-to-use filament spools.
