The Heavy-Duty 300 Guillotine Shear from Durston. This is a reliable and heavy duty professional tool for cutting and shearing metal in your jewellery workshop. The precision ground hardened blade can be turned around four times before needing sharpening, giving you increased utilisation between maintenance and a lifetime of work for many users. The guillotine will cut up to 300mm wide and 3.5mm thick of non-ferrous metals (including gold and silver), and 300mm wide and 2mm of mild steel ensuring clean cuts every time. The guillotine arm has a length of 75cm giving all the leverage you need to cut up to the maximum metal thicknesses powerfully. This is a solid and reliable piece of machinery that can be bolted to your work surface and weighs in at 58 kilograms when unboxed. Giving you complete peace of mind, the guillotine is shipped in a multi-transit packaging, ensuring it reaches you in perfect condition. Will cut full 12″ sheets to a maximum thickness of 2mm.
Will cut 6-inch wide sheets to a maximum thickness of 2.5mm
Will cut 2-inch wide sheets to a maximum thickness of 3mm – (but the material needs to be cut in the centre of the blade)
We do not recommend cutting more than 0.5mm Steel, Titanium, Nickel or similar metals.
