The advantages of IGV over the butterfly valve
The compressor can work under 0-100% flow range for adopting high reliable blow off valve which can load/unload 200000 times per year. The efficiency of compressor with IGV is 7-9% higher than that with butterfly valve, for IGV provides preswirl flow to the air taken into in the same direction as the impeller.
