Part 1 .Cable Fault Tester

Functional Characteristics
1. Used for various faults of power cables of different levels, cross sections, media, and materials of 35kV and below, including open circuit, short circuit, low resistance, high resistance leakage, and high resistance flash-over faults.
2. The low-voltage pulse method, impact flash-over method, triple pulse method, multiple pulse method, and velocity measurement method can be used in conjunction with high-voltage equipment to achieve traditional cable fault testing.

Main Features
1. The use of special structured acoustic vibration sensors and low noise specialized devices as preamplifiers greatly improves the sensitivity of the instrument for fixed point and path detection. In signal processing technology, the use of digital display of the distance between the fault point and the sensing probe greatly eliminates blindness during fixed point operation.
2. When a faulty cable is overhead in a cable trench, the vibration sound of the entire cable makes any locator helpless and unable to determine the specific location of a closed fault. Nowadays, as long as the sensor probe of this instrument contacts the faulty cable or nearby cable, the fault distance and direction can be accurately displayed, and the fault location can be quickly determined effortlessly.
3. The power frequency adaptive cancellation theory and high power frequency notch technology greatly enhance the suppression and anti-interference ability of 50Hz power frequency signals in strong power frequency electric field environments, reducing the fixed blind spot.
