Acrylic acid
An organic compound with a chemical formula of C3H4O2, a colorless liquid with a pungent odor, miscible with water, and miscible with ethanol and ether. It has active chemical properties and is easy to polymerize in the air.
It can be reduced to propionic acid by hydrogenation, and can be added to hydrogen chloride to generate 2-chloropropionic acid. It is mainly used for the preparation of acrylic resin.
