Application
Use：
Widely used as solvent in coating, resin, dye, ink and other industries; Used as synthetic monomer or solvent in pharmaceutical, explosive, pesticide and other industries; It can also be used as a component of gasoline with high octane number and is an important raw material for organic chemical industry. It can also be used to remove asphalt from the vehicle body. The hospital pathology department is mainly used for the transparency and dewaxing of tissues and sections.
Using industrial o-xylene as raw material, first wash the acid layer with industrial concentrated sulfuric acid until it is colorless, then wash it with 10% sodium hydroxide solution and water until it is qualified. After separating the water layer, dry it with anhydrous calcium chloride, and then rectify. After the distillate is clear, collect the middle fraction, which is the pure product.
