Sinoway SWSC150J modular jack-up barge is a type of mobile amphibious jack-up platform that consists of a buoyant hull (Pontoons)
fitted with a number of movable legs, capable of raising its hull over the surface of the sea. One robust Cummins engine is as power pack to drive crawler pontoon and jacking activities. The buoyant hull enables transportation of the unit and all attached machinery to a desired location. Once on location the hull is raised to the required elevation above the sea surface supported by the sea bed.
Jack up barges can be utilised in a range of marine environments which include intertidal, estuarial waters, rivers, dams and limited offshore areas where water depth and sea conditions permit.
