Glass wool insulation is a kind of sustainable, decarbonization building materials, which can save energy comsuption effectively in residential and industry area. 

Glass wool is basically manufactured by SiO2 (usually cullet), soda ash, borax, dolomite, etc. melting these raw materials and thrown into fine silky threads (wool) by centrifugal force in a rotating fibre spinner. And wool-like stuff usually features of good heat preservation and sound absorption.Glass wool is even better than rock wool at thermal insulation and noise reduction. Moreover, Glass wool is naturally fireproof becasue those raw materials are inorganic. Glass wool can be shaped as board, strip, blanket, tubular, loose-fill, to fit different applications. And for some specific purposes, it can be reinforced at certain of properties through additives and different formula, such as rigidity, resiliency, hydraophobic, higher temperature durable, vapor proof, etc.

• Raw materials: high level impurity substance will cause fibres quality directly and cause high shot content. On the other hand, in order to avoid unhealty elements, additives or binders should come from those qualified brands.


• Formula: For instance, in order to make out formaldehyde-free glass wool, we use special binders without any formaldehyde content. And in order to get high-temperature resistance wool, we even eliminate all resins.


• Production equipments and operation: The temperature level control, spinning speed, feeding volume,etc. these factors will effect the fibers diameter thus furtherly effect its insulation performance.


• QC: if QC absent at some vital production steps. it can be imaged how disastrous the final products is.
