Melamine, commonly known as Melamine and Melamine, C3H6N6, is a triazine heterocyclic organic compound, which is used as a chemical raw material. It is white monocline crystal, almost tasteless, slightly soluble in water (3.1g/L room temperature),soluble in methanol, formaldehyde, acetic acid, hot ethylene glycol, glycerin, pyidine, insoluble in acetone, ether, harmful to the body, can not be used for food processing or food additives.
