Fire Clay Bricks’ Refractoriness, Similar With Silica Refractory Bricks, Reach Up To 1690~1730℃. But Its Refractoriness Under Load Is Lower Over 200℃ Than Silica Refractory Bricks. Because Fire Clay Bricks Not Only Contain High Refractoriness Mullite Crystal, But Also Contain Almost Half Low-Melting-Point Noncrystalline Glass Phase.

Fire clay bricks for blast furnace are required for properties of high refractoriness in common temperature for good wear resistance in long term service, low shrink in high temperature service for long term that result to protect the integrality of llining.

When slabbing width is not more than 0.25mm, the length is unlimited.

When slabbing width is 0.26~0.50mm, the length is not more than 30mm.

When slabbing width is more than 0.50mm, the brick is below standard.

Large-scale Fire Clay Brick for Glass Furnace
Unit weight of large scale fire clay brick used to build glass furnace is not less than 50kg.

The fracture surface of clayfire bricks:

* Length of Brick≤400mm. When slabbing width is 0.26~0.50mm, the length is not more than 40mm. When slabbing width is 0.51~1mm,
the length is not more than 25mm.

* Length of Brick＞400mm. When slabbing width is 0.26~0.50mm, the length is not more than 80mm. When slabbing width is 0.51~1mm,
the length is not more than 50mm.

* Slabbing width of Crack ＜0.25mm, the length is unlimited.
