It is equipped with a large Y-shaped suction area, defined as Easy Fill, which allows simple and safe application of the blood sample with a minimal quantity: only 0.6 microlitres.
Inside the strip there are 8 electrodes that perform
over 150 automatic quality checks, to ensure the accuracy of
result.
They are able to verify the integrity of the strip and the reagents based on humidity and external temperature, any damage to the strip and the quantity of blood deposited, with error reporting in case of
insufficient blood.
Arrows are clearly shown on the strip which indicate the direction of introduction of the strip into the glucometer.
