Detection principle:

Vibration measurement of mechanical equipment:

Any mechanical equipment will produce vibration when it works. When the equipment is abnormal, the vibration will increase accordingly. Vibration of equipment directly reflects the operation status of equipment, and is the main information of equipment fault diagnosis.

The abnormal vibration forms caused by different types of faults of rotating machinery are also different. Faults such as unbalance of rotor, misalignment of rotating shaft, loosening of frame and oil film oscillation of sliding bearing all cause low frequency vibration. Lo RMS (Low Frequency Vibration Intensity) measurement method of this diagnostic instrument designed by Amplatin Technology can diagnose anomalies in low frequency domain.

Measurement of rolling bearing condition:

When the inner ring, outer ring or rolling element of rolling bearing is damaged, impulsive vibration will occur whenever the rolling element rolls over the defect of working face. Because of the damp effect, impulsive vibration is a kind of attenuating vibration, so the strength of impulse reflects the degree of fault.

The abnormality of rolling bearing is the abnormality of amplitude and impact coefficient of vibration acceleration signal (the ratio of peak acceleration to average acceleration). In the initial stage of failure, the peak value and impact coefficient of pulse will increase obviously, and the average value will not change much. When the peak value increases to a certain extent, it will no longer increase, but the average value will gradually increase, and the impact coefficient will gradually decrease. The average value (Hi AVE) is usually used as the criterion for diagnosis. For the case of low speed (below 300 rpm), the change of average value is small, and the peak value (Hi PEAK) can be used as the criterion to judge normal or abnormal. It would be more reliable to use both peak value (Hi PEAK) and mean value (Hi AVE) for comprehensive diagnosis. In addition, the impact coefficient can be used as the criterion. For example, when the average value (Hi AVE) is larger, while the peak value (Hi PEAK) and impact coefficient are smaller, it indicates that the bearing is not lubricated well and wears; on the contrary, it indicates that the bearing is damaged. The Hi AVE and Hi PEAK measurements of this diagnostic instrument can diagnose abnormalities in high frequency range.

Measurement of gear condition:

It is similar to rolling bearing condition measurement. The measuring methods of Hi AVE and Hi PEAK of this diagnostic instrument can diagnose the abnormality of gear state.
