Overview of rock wool panels
Rock wool panels are made from the inorganic raw material basalt. It is produced by heating basalt at 1350 °C-1400 °C and converting it into fibers that are bonded together using thermosetting resins. It is lightweight, easy to install and is mainly used for thermal and acoustic insulation.
It is widely used for exterior building insulation, roof insulation, curtain walls, flooring, drywall partitions, industrial and civil buildings, composite sandwich panels, fireproof door core panels, marine bulkheads and decks, as well as various industrial or shipbuilding equipment.
