The veress needle is mainly composed of telescopic head, needle bar, barrel and valve. The force is applied to the barrel, and with the help of the sharpness of the piercing needle head, the veress needle enters the abdominal cavity, and then the telescopic head is popped out for flushing, so that the abdominal cavity is filled with carbon dioxide gas, and then the veress needle is withdrawn, thus establishing the basic conditions for the piercing device to penetrate into the abdominal cavity, and preventing injury to the tissues in the cavity.
