Chlorinated paraffin 42 is a light yellow viscous liquid. Freezing point -30℃, relative density 1.16 (25/25℃), insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents and various mineral oils.
Chlorinated paraffin 52 is a light yellow to yellow oily viscous liquid. The freezing point is -20℃, and the relative density(25/25℃) is 1.22-1.26. Soluble in benzene, ether, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in water.
