Product features:
The function of the soft start board is to reduce the instantaneous surge current during startup, in order to reduce the impact of the machine on the power grid and extend the lifespan of the switch. This board uses a high current (100A) pure copper foot relay and a large thermistor NTC 20D-20 to effectively protect the machine and prevent excessive startup current.
The product does not require an auxiliary power supply, only 2 wiring terminals, one connected to the power input (previously connected to a switch control), and one output connected to the load, making it very convenient to use.
Working principle:
In the early stage of connecting the power supply, the load is powered by a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient. As the temperature of the thermistor increases, the resistance decreases and the voltage slowly rises, effectively suppressing the impact of surge current on the line and other electrical appliances. After about 2 seconds, the relay will close and short-circuit the thermistor. The power will be directly supplied to the load through the relay contacts, and the load will enter normal working state.
