Diamond mesh sheets,the most versatile and economical expanded metal mesh product,is made from the sheets or coils of mild steel,galvanized steel,stainless steel,aluminum,which are uniformly slit and stretched, forming a diamond pattern of openings in the finished sheet. Expanded metal has various of patterns by using the different molds.

Advantages of Diamond Metal Lath
There are many advantages to using diamond mesh as a fence. It is flexible and elastic, does not roll or sag, and is considered very durable and strong. Wires made of stainless steel, iron, carbon or aluminum are woven vertically and bent into a zigzag pattern, with the wires joining together to form a diamond pattern.
They are rarely welded but are instead woven by manual machines, hand or fully automated braiding systems. Wire is often galvanized, which gives the wire extra strength and resistance to external factors. Once woven, diamond mesh is sometimes dipped in molten zinc to provide superior rust protection. Mild steel diamond mesh contains a heavy galvanized coating to ensure a long service life.
Some diamond mesh is covered with PVC, giving the fence a smooth surface, a variety of color options, and a protective coating. PVC is bonded or heat fused to metal wire through a heat dip process. Fences treated with thermoplastic materials are by far the most expensive. However, it can be produced in any color and is very resistant to moisture, heat and rust in any weather. Diamond mesh is always supplied in sheet or roll form.
