What is Sci sodium cocoyl isethionate ?
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate(SCI), often called baby foam, is a specialty anionic surfactant made from all vegetable, renewable resources, primarily coconut. It is used to impart extra mildness, good after feel, and good foaming in many personal care and cleansing products. SCI is an excellent foamer in hard or soft water. Naturally derived and biodegradable.
Function of Sci sodium cocoyl isethionate
1. Extremely mild, moisturizing, rich fat.
2. Rich foam and mild cleaning ability.
3. In the product as self emulsifier, can form a rich pearl emulsion.
