Product description: This product is composed of Bacillus stearothermophilus spores (ATCC7953) and culture medium. According to the color change of the biological indicator medium, it reflects the survival of Bacillus stearothermophilus spores, so as to judge whether the pressure steam sterilization is qualified.

Scope of application: suitable for monitoring the effect of pressure steam sterilization.

How to use:

1. Place the biological indicator in the center of the standard test bag (23cm*23cm*15cm), place the test bag above the steam outlet in the sterilizer or the most difficult position in the sterilizer, and run it off. Bacteria program.   

2. After the sterilization is over, take out the biological indicator in the test bag. After confirming that the color of the chemical indicator on the label on the biological indicator changes from yellow to black, allow the biological indicator to cool to room temperature, and use a clamp to break the ampoule in the biological indicator so that the bacterial sheet fully contacts the culture medium.   

3. Cultivate in a 56-58°C incubator, and at the same time, take another unsterilized biological indicator of the same batch number to break the ampoule, and then culture it under the same conditions as a positive control.       

4.  After 24 hours of cultivation, observe the color of the medium to confirm the sterilization effect. Remove the outer label of the biological indicator bottle as a record for preservation.   

5. After 24 hours of cultivation, the culture medium remains blue-purple unchanged and regarded as qualified; the culture medium changes from blue-purple to yellow as unqualified.
