Thumb Hole Wrist Cock-Up Splint provides support to the volar surface of the wrist and forearm,relieving wrist pain.
We are a professional manufacturer to produce Low Temperaturer Thermoplastic Material in China over 10 years.
Maidfirm Thermoplastic:
Our all products most of made of Low Temperature Thermoplastic Material,it is a special synthetic polymer polyester (PCL), which is processed by a series of physical and chemical methods.
It is in a stable state when in drying space with room temperature.Temperature at 65℃-70℃, the material will soften, can be stretched and shaped on patient directly, and revert to type of rigidity feature at normal temperature.
Compare with traditional plaster casting, it is lighter , good and easier to remove and clean.
Very suitable for useing in injuries that require a longer healing time.
Thermoplastic Features: Light weight, good plasticity, x-ray translucent, latex free, non-toxic, non-irritating to skin, antimicrobial and environment friendly with self-degradation.
Except to use as Orthopedic Splints, it also can be used as Thermoplastic Splints for animals, like leg splints for cat and dog. It is light weight and very easy to mold on animals.

For Child can use 1.6mm, 2.0mm , 2.4mm
For Adult can use 2.4mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm
Just advice to use which thickness will be good, also need to according to patient injury degree to choose right thickness to use. Different thickness different rigidity.

Operation:
Put into the hot water(The Temperature about 65-70 centigrade) about 2 minute, it will be soften, and you can make to any shape, about ten minutes to cool later, and become the shape you want. If you are not satisfied can also put it in hot water, reshaping. It can be used 3-4 times, can reshape again and again.

3. How can I get the suitbable material?
A. We would like to send you small size of samples to you for testing, you just handle well freight cost that is fine. We accept prepay freight cost and freight collect. We will advise you.
4. How to heat material?
A.: Heating method- water heat or dry heat. Same as other famous brands of thermoplastic like Orfit,Aquaplast and Klarity, same heating method. Normally we use water bath to heat thermoplastic at most.
5. Do you have video to teach us how to fabricture with your thermoplastic splinting material?
