Brief introduction
Pseudo boehmite is an aluminium compound with the chemical composition AlO(OH). It consists of finely crystalline boehmite.
Pseudo boehmite (Gelling Grade), like DZC-03-LS and N-01B, is also called Gelling Grade Alumina Powder. It features with high crystallinity, excellent gelling capability and strong peptization, which is widely used as binder for FCC catalysts and adsorbents, and used as the raw material for activated alumina as well.
Pseudo boehmite (Specialty), like DZC-PB-01, is pseudo­boehmite in essential, shortly as PB. It is one of the important fine chemicals, with typical of abundant micro volume structure, huge surface area and proper surface alkalinity or acidity. It is widely used as adsorbent, desiccant, catalyst and catalytic carrier in the industries of refinery, rubber, chemical fertilizer, petrochemical and so on so forth. Special pseudo boehmite is featured with large pore volume and huge surface area, which is also one of the main raw materials for hydrogenation catalysts carrier.
