Optical brightener masterbatch :
Optical brightener (OB) masterbatch enhances the optical properties and reduces the yellowness of a product during end applications, enhancing its cosmetic appearance. These are mainly designed for plastic applications. It works on absorption of UV wavelength and converts it into visible light. A white surface treated with an OB masterbatch can emit more visible light than what shines on it, making it appear brighter. They also make whites appear ‘brighter’ to the human eye.
