Kyanite is a kind of natural refractory mineral with high refractoriness and large volume expansion at high temperatures. There are parallel stripes on the crystal plane. Color is light blue or cyan, bright gray, and so on. It belongs to high aluminum minerals. Its chemical corrosion resistance is strong, thermal shock mechanical strength, and heat expansion irreversible. It is the main raw material for the production of amorphous materials, electric furnace top brick, phosphate non-fired brick, mullite brick, and low creep brick.
Product Application
Because of the characteristics of kyanite mineral, it is used to manufacture excellent high-grade refractory materials, refractory mortar, cement, casting resistant products, plastic ramming mixture, technical ceramics, spark plugs for automobile engines, insulators, ball mill balls, test vessels, earthquake resistant articles, etc.

(4) adding 5% ~ 15% kyanite in high alumina cement can be made into kyanite cement, fire resistance temperature up to 1650℃ and can be used in military buildings.Kyanite minerals are mainly used in the production of refractory materials, alumina, silicon aluminum alloy, and metal fibers.
