Description


The Y series Economical Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge is designed for non-explosive, non-crystalline, non-solid, and non-corrosive environments, suitable for copper alloy applications. It consists of a socket, bourdon tube, and transfer mechanism, displaying pressure values via a pointer.

Product Structure


Bourdon tube is a C-shaped tube with an irregular cross-section. If there is pressure inside the tube, the irregular cross-section will have a tendency to become round. Radial pressure is generated in the wall of the tube, causing the radius of the C-tube to increase and the end piece to move, a process known as end travel. The end movement of just a few millimetres is transmitted to the movement so that the change in evoked pressure is visible on the scale.
