Descrption
Attrition scrubber washer is the process where a mineral is scrubbed primarily by the action of the slurry particles impacting one another. Attrition scrubbers, also known as Attrition Cells, are relatively simple devices. They consist of a tank, impeller system and drive system. Generally, the tank is PE lined and can be either square or octagonal. The impeller system is PE coated and normally consists of two sets of impellers with opposing pitches. The v-belt drive system is designed to effectively transmit the power to spin the shaft and impellers. The most important function of the attrition machine is the scrubbing of particle scrubbing of particle surfaces to remove film or coating.
Working Principle
After Silica sand, quartz sand slurry (density of 60% ~ 75%) into the scrubbing machine, By agitation of stirring blade, Material would rolling up and down and make circle movement in the mixer .Collision and friction between material s ,So that the impurity and iron oxide which stick to the surface would drop.the edges and corner of material become smooth and pure .Finally, the purity of the material will be increased.
