GSE airport aircraft service equipment GPU mobile ground power unit

 

Ground power unit is designed to provide AC 115/200V, 400Hz and 28V DC electrical power to aircraft.  It is applicable to AC system of the civil and military aircraft as a ground support power, and also serve at aircraft manufacturer, aircraft maintenance base, flight-test field, research institute as a test power.

 

The GPU consists of a specially designed synchronous generator which is driven by a modern diesel engine.

 

A canopy covers the GPU against weather condition and accidental influences and provides maximum noise attenuation.

 

The maintenance and electrical personal must be qualified to a recognized standard and confident to perform their duties as described in this Maintenance Manual.

 

The airport user’s codex should be respected and adhered to at all time.
