UKL metal seal is a metal seal specifically designed for grease lubricated bearings to protect bearings from contaminants. The all-metal seal is designed to prevent dirt, dust, debris, and other abrasive contaminants from entering ball and roller bearings, helping to extend the normal operation time of bearings in harsh operating environments and industries.
UKL ZAV series: The sealing of bearings already equipped with protective covers or seals is completed by NILOS rings of other sizes, so that the seals clamped in the bearings are completely sealed by the sealing rings.

Sealing Principle Of UKL Metal Seals
After installing the UKL metal seal and operating for a short period of time, relying on its sealing lip, under slight pressure, the contact friction with the inner or outer ring of the bearing creates a shallow groove on the ring surface, resulting in a zigzag gap. Due to this zigzag gap, grease cannot flow out, while also preventing dust and moisture from entering the bearing. When this zigzag gap occurs, the pressure disappears, and naturally there is no friction.
