Driver visibility from the cab is a major issue for commercial fleets – especially those operating in an Mining area – with vehicle blind spots contributing to serious collisions with vulnerable road users. Our range of monitors provide a live view from any camera fitted around the vehicle, so drivers can manoeuvre and drive safely.
All our monitors can be used with front, side, rear and load facing cameras, with a live feed from the relevant camera when the driver performs a manoeuvre, such as reversing or turning left/right (triggered when the reverse gear is engaged or the indicator is on). This type of in-vehicle driving aid ensures that the driver can see any adjacent cyclist, pedestrian or obstacle, ensuring that appropriate action can be taken to avoid a collision.
