4000PSI 3.0 U Type 1/4 Inch Stainless Steel Quick Connect High Pressure Washer Nozzle
Types of Nozzles:
* 0-Degree (Red Nozzle): Produces a very concentrated, powerful jet of water. It's used for tough cleaning tasks, like removing stains from concrete, but should be used cautiously to avoid damage to surfaces or personal injury.
* 15-Degree (Yellow Nozzle): Offers a slightly wider spray, making it suitable for stripping paint, cleaning concrete, and removing rust from metal surfaces.
* 25-Degree (Green Nozzle): Provides a moderate spray pattern for general cleaning tasks on decks, patios, and fencing without causing damage.
* 40-Degree (White Nozzle): Delivers a wide spray pattern for gentle cleaning, perfect for windows, cars, and other delicate surfaces.
* Soap Nozzle (Black Nozzle): Designed for applying detergents and cleaning solutions. It produces a low-pressure spray pattern, ideal for soaking surfaces before washing.
* Surface Type: Consider the durability and sensitivity of the surface you're cleaning. Use a nozzle with a wider angle for delicate surfaces and a narrower angle for more intense cleaning.
* Cleaning Task: Determine whether you need to apply soap, strip paint, or simply rinse off dirt and select the nozzle accordingly.
* Distance: Keep in mind that the pressure decreases as the distance from the nozzle to the surface increases. Choose a nozzle that will provide the right pressure for the distance you plan to work from.
Matching Nozzles to Pump
Proper nozzle selection should take into consideration the type of application, your pressure setting, distance from the substrate, and the nozzle number size. Your pump must be capable of producing the proper amount of PSI needed for the total GPM flow rate of all the nozzles required for the application. For instance, a #4.0 nozzle will always do 2.0 GPM at 1000 PSI. See the flow rate chart to match your nozzle size to your pump.
