Notes | Dyeable in a wide range of colors is possible; however, colorfastness to laundering is variable and similar to normal viscose fiber. FR Viscose is stable when exposed to a wide variety of acids and alkalis. However, prolonged exposure to high concentrations of sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, dimethyl formamide, and dimethyl sulfoxide is not recommended. The fabric does not provide personal chemical protection to the wearer. Where chemical exposure is a hazard, appropriate specialized barrier garments should be selected.
